Job Description

Join the Drive news team and help us deliver timely, engaging content to a captivated automotive audience. We're looking for a sharp, capable journalist to cover everything from industry trends to dealership updates, all while working with a supportive team of editors and senior journalists. 

 

Day to day you will:

  • Stay up to date with the latest automotive news, with a focus on new model releases, car sales data, dealerships and industry trends.
  • Write high-quality, engaging news articles and reports under tight deadlines.
  • Use SEO strategies and social media to maximise the visibility of your content.
  • Collaborate with editors and multimedia teams to enhance your stories.
  • Engage with our audience by responding to comments and questions.
  • Monitor and analyse the performance of your articles, providing insights for future content improvement.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and an interest in cars. 
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Exceptional research and fact-checking abilities.
  • An understanding of SEO and the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Preferably a degree in journalism or a related field.
