We produce high-quality content in a vibrant, collaborative environment. Located in the fantastic area of Albury, you'll have easy access to the stunning Murray River, Lake Hume, the Victorian Ski Fields, and just a 3-hour drive to Melbourne. Our modern office boasts excellent facilities, providing a comfortable and inspiring place to work. 

A day in the life?

As the HIT Workday Announcer, you'll bring energy and creativity to the airwaves, delivering high-quality, engaging content that resonates with our listeners. In addition to hosting, you’ll have opportunities to contribute to Operations. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering technically flawless and creatively compelling presentations that reflect the station's identity and connect with the audience.

  • Ensuring all on-air content aligns with our content strategy and complies with industry regulations, including The Broadcasting Services Act, The Commercial Radio Codes of Practice, and Broadcasting Standards.

  • Promoting station music and show features in a positive light, carefully editing content to avoid any potential for negative reactions.

  • Overseeing the smooth running of commercials, promptly alerting sales or scheduling teams to any missed spots or issues related to commercial content.

What You’ll Need

  • Broadcasting voice suitable for the target audience with a breadth of radio experience.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Motivated and willing to work as part of a content team.
  • Produces engaging products with appropriate content, format, style and pace.
  • Can relate content decisions to the impact they will have on the market/customer/key audiences.
  • An understanding of legal compliance issues with regards to contests including the assessment of risk around legal and PR outcomes.
