Job Description

Reporting to the AI Product Lead, you will work hand-in-hand with data scientists, engineers, product managers and business stakeholders to ensure the seamless and efficient implementation of AI capabilities across Nine's diverse portfolio. This role is crucial for translating high-level product strategies into actionable, component-level technical diagrams and documentation, ensuring a clear and shared understanding for all technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Day to day you will:

  • Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to identify requirements and workflow for AI projects, map business process flows, gather detailed technical requirements, and translate them into specifications for development teams. Create and maintain a Business Requirements Document (BRD) and other project-related documentation.
  • Support the AI product lifecycle by collaborating with the AI Product Lead to ensure technical documentation is aligned with the product roadmap and delivery timelines.
  • Serve as a key communication link, ensuring that data scientists and engineers have a clear understanding of the project's technical requirements and business context.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in creating test plans, developing test cases, and executing user acceptance testing (UAT). Validate that the final product meets the documented requirements and effectively solves the business problem.
  • Proactively identify and recommend improvements to existing processes and methodologies to enhance the efficiency of AI project implementation.

Qualifications

What you’ll bring:

  • 3+ years experience as a technical business analyst, process analyst, or similar.
  • Proven experience mapping and documenting technical processes, especially in data-centric projects.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML project lifecycles.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with strong technical documentation and diagramming abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to bridge technical and business teams.
  • Understanding of data flows, APIs, and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or a related quantitative field; business analysis or process management certifications are a plus.
