Job Description

The role of the Account Executive - Broadcast is to work closely with the Sales Executive with key tasks in achieving revenue targets specifically for the Broadcast agency portfolio. The Account Executive is a major day-to-day contact for media planners and buyers focused on broadcast channels (television and radio) and is ultimately responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to our advertising agencies and clients in this sector.

Day to day you will:

  • Effectively managing incoming bookings and queries, while also pro actively working with Sales Executive to sell inventory
  • Have a thorough understanding of all Nine digital content, products, and USPs. 
  • Effectively communicate product value in order to educate clients and deliver on product sales.
  • Navigate and work with several departments and stakeholders to deliver solutions for your clients.
  • Ability to build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within agencies and represent the Nine brand in market.
  • Demonstrate a passion for the media industry, and a passion to learn about buying models, trends, the competitive landscape, and what this means for Nine. demonstrating passion and enthusiasm for our business, taking an avid interest in your self-development and promoting our business values day to day. 
  • Proactively identify opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Deliver excellent service by meeting deadlines and multi tasking to ensure all client needs are met.
  • Create campaign reports outlining key insights, and oversee effective and accurate optimisations and delivery of campaigns. 

        

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent communication, relationship and account management skills
  • Strong analytical skill to understand revenue trends and use data to influence sales strategy
  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to efficiently prioritise and manage several tasks at once
  • Excel and PowerPoint skills are preferable 
  • Confidence to speak to clients, individually or in groups
