As a Technical Operations Executive, JAPAC, based in our Sydney office, you will play a pivotal role in helping clients maximise the value of our programmatic software solutions.

 

Partnering with premium brands across Australia, New Zealand, Asia Pacific, and Japan, you will apply your curiosity and keen attention to detail to navigate a dynamic industry - solving technical challenges for Publishers, Buyers, and Demand Side Platforms. Through hands-on problem-solving, you will gain deep expertise in the programmatic ecosystem, enabling you to deliver impactful solutions to our clients. In this cross-functional role, you will collaborate closely with internal teams to enhance platform functionality, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement.

 

Success in this position demands a strong mix of analytical thinking, troubleshooting proficiency, project management skills, and outstanding interpersonal communication. If you’re naturally curious, technically minded, and excited about solving problems in a fast-moving space, this role is for you.

 

In this role you will:

  • Provide technical support for clients using Magnite’s market-leading DV+ and Demand Manager platforms
  • Support integrations for Publishers, Demand Side Platforms, and Curation Partners
  • Troubleshoot complex technical issues in clients’ implementations
  • Collaborate with Product Management by partnering on feedback and testing etc.
  • Build relationships with technical and business contacts by providing guidance and establishing yourself as a trusted advisor on all aspects of the ad tech ecosystem
  • Proactively implement operational processes and/or reporting that simplify, standardise, and enable operational excellence
  • Proactively work on revenue generating projects with the goal of growing our market share

We’re looking for someone with: 

  • A bachelor’s degree or minimum 1-2 years hands-on experience in a technical, analytical, or client-facing role
  • Strong communication skills - explain technical concepts clearly, and collaborate effectively with clients and internal stakeholders
  • A strategic mindset with the ability to work independently and prioritise in a fast-moving environment
  • Proactive, problem-solving intent - comfortable thinking creatively and finding practical ways forward, even when things get tricky
  • Solid working knowledge of Excel (e.g., pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation)
  • Knowledge of markup (like HTML) or programming languages (like SQL, Python, Javascript) or any experience with online advertising technologies like Google Ad Manager, Header Bidding, Prebid, OpenRTB, Supply Side Platforms, Demand Side Platforms, etc., is a bonus
