Talent Partnerships Lead

About the role
As our Talent Partnerships Lead, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping Mamamia's talent strategy by identifying, developing, and managing the voices that connect our brand with millions of Australian women. This strategic position sits at the intersection of content, commercial, and brand, where you'll curate a diverse talent portfolio that drives exceptional audience engagement and commercial outcomes. Collaborating closely with leadership, you'll help shape our talent vision while providing hands-on management of both our valued internal talent and influential external partners. Your expertise will directly impact our content quality, audience growth, and revenue potential across all platforms.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Partner with our Commercial team to provide strategic talent recommendations that align with client objectives
- Maintain and enhance our talent database, ensuring all details, rates, and performance metrics are up-to-date
- Support talent relationship management efforts with both internal talent pools and external influencers
- Assist in structuring talent pricing and collaborate with finance and legal teams on contracts
- Oversee talent usage rights and ensure compliance with industry regulations
- Work with the Head of Content and Head of Strategy to proactively identify and cultivate new talent
- Develop evaluation criteria for assessing potential talent against our strategic content pillars
- Provide data-driven insights on talent performance to inform commercial recommendations

- You excel at navigating complex stakeholder relationships and communicating effectively across all organisational levels
- You possess a sharp eye for identifying talent whose authentic voice resonates with audiences while meeting commercial objectives
- You have proven success in cultivating valuable relationships with both internal talent and external influencer networks
- You are a strategic thinker who translates performance metrics into actionable talent and content recommendations
- You have a strong understanding of talent rights, contract structures, and compliance requirements to maximise content value
