- Partner with designers, content strategists, and UX teams to shape end-to-end talent journeys, from awareness through to application and onboarding; Create content that supports personalisation at scale, adapting messaging for priority talent segments and markets
- Work closely with local market teams in Hong Kong and China or the Middle East including Dubai to ensure content is locally resonant, culturally sensitive, and fit-for-purpose, while maintaining global consistency; Contribute to the development of toolkits, templates, and content frameworks that enable markets to activate employer brand storytelling efficiently and consistently
- Collaborate with UX and content strategy partners to support the evolution of HSBC’s digital employer brand ecosystem, ensuring clarity, coherence, and compelling narrative flow; Write copy that works seamlessly across platforms — careers sites, social, CRM, paid media, events, and internal channels
- Act as a senior creative partner to stakeholders across Enterprise Talent, Group Brand, and agencies; Provide guidance and constructive feedback on copy and concepts, raising creative standards across the team
- Support the Talent Creative Lead in maintaining strong creative governance, ensuring quality, compliance, and brand consistency.
To be successful you will need:
- Demonstrated ability to write, read, translate, and trans create employer brand and campaign content in: English, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese, with sensitivity to linguistic and cultural nuances; Strong understanding of how language, tone, and cultural context vary across markets and the ability to adapt content accordingly while maintaining global brand consistency.
- Proven experience as a Senior Copywriter within employer branding, brand storytelling, marketing, or communications — ideally in complex, global organisations; Strong experience delivering digital-first, multi-channel campaigns, from big brand narratives to modular, performance-led content
- Demonstrated ability to translate strategy and insight into creative ideas and compelling copy; Experience working across multiple markets and cultures, with sensitivity to local nuance and global brand standards
- Strong understanding of talent audiences, candidate motivations, and employee experience storytelling; Highly creative thinker who draws inspiration beyond financial services and adapts ideas to a regulated, global environment
- Strong grasp of human insight, motivation, and tension points, using these to craft impactful narratives; Confident working with senior stakeholders, agency partners, and cross-functional teams
- Able to balance creativity with clarity, governance, and delivery focus; Experience supporting Hong Kong and China and global projects
- Familiarity with employer brand measurement, performance marketing, or content optimisation; Ability to write for Campaigns, UX, product, or journey-led experiences
- Employer brand content that feels human, inclusive, and globally consistent, yet locally relevant; Campaigns and content that cut through, resonate with priority talent, and support measurable hiring outcomes
- A strong, trusted creative partnership with stakeholders and markets; Elevated creative standards across HSBC’s employer brand ecosystem
