Job Description

The Senior Director, APAC Digital is responsible for leading Subway’s digital strategy, platform delivery, and digital operations across the APAC region, with an initial build focus in ANZ. The role owns the end-to-end digital ecosystem — spanning customer-facing channels (app, loyalty, delivery, kiosk, web), CRM and data capabilities, and the underlying technology platforms — ensuring Subway’s digital presence is commercially effective, scalable, and aligned with global architecture standards.
Initially anchored in ANZ as the priority market, the Senior Director builds the digital operating model, leads the Loyalty Transition, and drives CRM roadmap maturity as the foundation for APAC-wide digital expansion. As the ANZ digital ecosystem matures, the role progressively extends the digital capability framework to APAC markets including South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand, Malaysia, and others, working in close partnership with market GMs, Global Digital and Technology teams, and the APAC President.
This is a commercially-oriented digital leadership role. The Senior Director connects digital investment to measurable business outcomes — digital sales mix, loyalty adoption, CRM-driven revenue, and guest experience — while managing complex multi-vendor delivery environments and building strong cross-functional partnerships with Marketing, Operations, Franchise Performance, and Finance.

Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Technology, Digital, or a related discipline
  • 12–15+ years, experience in Digital platforms, loyalty, CRM, QSR experience preferred
  • 5+yrs supervisory
  • Deep expertise across digital ecosystems: app, loyalty, CRM, delivery, kiosk, and digital ordering channels.
  • Proven commercial orientation — connects digital investment to sales, guest experience, and franchise profitability outcomes.
  • Strong understanding of loyalty program mechanics, member lifecycle management, and CRM personalisation strategy.
  • Experience managing complex, multi-vendor digital delivery programs with budget and commercial accountability.
  • Solid grasp of data privacy, platform security, and digital compliance requirements across APAC markets.
  • Ability to operate across the breadth of digital — from strategy and architecture to in-market execution.
  • Proven capability leading cross-functional digital teams in a matrixed, multi-market environment.
  • Executive presence — able to translate complex digital topics for commercial, operations, and franchise audiences.
  • Strong influencing skills; able to shape global product and platform decisions from a regional position.
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders including President-level reporting lines.
  • Bias for execution alongside strategic thinking; comfortable holding ambiguity while maintaining delivery momentum.
  • Commercially credible partner to Marketing, Operations, Franchise Performance, and Finance.
