Role Overview
Build, nurture, and scale our international social media presence, creating engaging content that builds community, educates customers about acupressure and wellness, and drives brand awareness. This role brings our brand to life on social platforms, fostering authentic connections with our wellness community while supporting broader marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Social Media Management (50%)
Plan, create and publish social media content across key platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, etc.)
Develop platform-specific content that align with brand voice and wellness positioning
Manage social media content calendar and ensure consistent posting schedule
Monitor social channels and respond to comments and messages promptly, in coordination with Customer Experience team
Stay current on social media trends, platform updates, and wellness content opportunities - Content Creation & Production (30%)
Produce engaging social content including graphics, short-form videos, stories, and reels
Adapt long-form content from blog posts and product guides for social formats
Collaborate with Creator & Affiliate Specialist to feature creator content across platforms
Source and coordinate organic, earned content and feature across platforms
Work with Brand & Creative team on branded campaign content - Performance & Optimisation (15%)
Track social media metrics (engagement, reach, follower growth, traffic)
Analyze performance data to identify high-performing content and optimise strategy
Share insights with Content & Community Manager on trending topics and audience preferences
Conduct social listening to understand customer sentiment and competitive landscape
Test new content formats, posting times, and platform features - Facebook Community Group Management (5%)
Manage and grow our Facebook Acupressure Mat community group
Foster engagement through discussions, challenges, wellness tips, and member spotlights
Moderate group to maintain positive, supportive environment aligned with brand values
Create regular content and prompts to drive conversation and member participation
Identify and celebrate active community members and success stories
Gather insights and feedback from community to share with broader marketing team
Key Integrations
- Brand & Creative: Execute social content aligned with brand strategy and creative direction
- Growth & Performance: Coordinate organic social with paid social campaigns; share high-performing organic content for ad testing
- Creator & Affiliate Specialist: Feature UGC and creator content; identify potential creators from Facebook community
- Customer Experience: Route customer service inquiries appropriately; celebrate customer success stories in Facebook group
Qualifications
- 3-5+ years social media management experience, preferably in wellness, lifestyle, or DTC brands
- Strong portfolio of social content creation (graphics, short-form video, stories)
- Deep knowledge of Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and emerging platforms
- Experience with social media management tools (Later, Hootsuite, Vista Social, etc.)
- Basic graphic design and video editing skills (Canva, CapCut, Adobe Creative Suite)
- Understanding of social media analytics and performance optimisation
- Creative mindset with finger on the pulse of social trends
- Authentic passion for wellness and community building

- Social media intuition: Natural feel for what resonates on each platform; understands platform cultures and audience behaviors instinctively
- Creativity & visual storytelling: Eye for compelling visuals and ability to tell stories in scroll-stopping ways

- Responsiveness: Quick to engage with followers; makes people feel heard and valued in comments and DMs
- Trend awareness: Always has finger on the pulse of what's happening in social media and wellness culture
