YOUR NEW ROLE

The Social Media Manager leads the strategy, operations and performance of the
Sydney Opera House’s social media channels to strengthen brand presence and grow
engaged communities. This hands-on role oversees publishing, monitoring,
governance, and delivers actionable insights through analytics and reporting to
drive continual improvement.

ARE YOU THE ONE?

To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate:

* Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. 
* 8+ years of experience leading social media strategy, performance, and
operations in business or agency environments. 
* Proven expertise in social platforms, audience engagement, community
management, and maintaining a consistent brand voice. 
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate social media metrics
into actionable insights and measurable ROI. 
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills, with
a solid understanding of governance, brand standards and crisis management.
