What you’ll do: 

The Senior Site Reliability Engineer is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of our cloud services, with a specialised focus on integrating security operations and development operations. This role is critical in architecting and maintaining robust, secure infrastructure, automating workflows, and optimising system health through proactive engineering and responsive troubleshooting. This role will collaborate with development teams to embed security practices into the lifecycle of software development and operations, aiming to achieve seamless and secure service delivery

What you'll bring

  • 8+ years engineering / SRE/ SecDevOps / Information Security/ software experience with a deep technical knowledge of the foundations of computer science and engineering
  • Demonstrated technical leadership experience (e.g. tech lead, engineering manager or other proven tech leadership)
  • Deep understanding of SRE core principles with experience implementing and iterating on them with business and technical stakeholders
  • Experience with modern SecOps and DevOps methods and tooling
  • Functional experience with enterprise security frameworks such as SOC1, SOC2 and ISO27001
  • Extensive knowledge of infrastructure as code techniques including tools like Terraform
  • Experience with CI/CD best practices
  • Experience building, automating and monitoring production cloud environments (GCP preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of security and networking concepts in practice
  • Strong knowledge of ‘Embedded SecdevOps’ practices
  • Strong coding skills in either Scala/Python/Go/Java/SQL or similar and excellent scripting skills (bash/python etc)
  • Knowledge of data structures, algorithms and distributed systems
  • Bonus points for experience with: Orca, Akamai, Snyk, Golang, GCP, BigQuery, AWS, Terraform, Github Actions, Edge & IoT security
