ABOUT THE ROLE
As Senior Marketing Manager, you will lead brand awareness and demand generation for Unifyr’s PRM and channel marketing automation platform across the Asia-Pacific region. You will own the regional marketing plan end to end—designing and executing content and inbound marketing programs as well as outbound activities such as events—to build pipeline and accelerate revenue across manufacturing, distribution and trading companies, and the software/technology ecosystem. Working closely with the Managing Director, sales, and customer success, you will translate Unifyr’s value proposition into compelling, localized campaigns that generate and nurture qualified leads.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Awareness & Demand Generation
- Strategy & pipeline: Build and execute the regional awareness and lead-generation strategy, aligning marketing-sourced pipeline targets with the APAC revenue plan.
- Campaign execution: Plan and run integrated, multi-channel demand-generation campaigns (digital, email, paid media, webinars, and account-based marketing) targeting priority verticals and personas.
- Brand & positioning: Strengthen Unifyr’s brand presence and positioning in APAC, ensuring consistent messaging adapted to regional and local market needs.
Content & Inbound Marketing
- Content & inbound strategy: Plan and execute the content marketing and inbound marketing strategy—including blogs, whitepapers, case studies, e-books, landing pages, and SEO—to attract and convert target audiences.
- Thought leadership: Develop a content calendar and thought-leadership program that articulates the value of PRM, partner onboarding, deal registration, MDF/co-op management, and through-channel marketing automation.
- Inbound & nurture: Build and optimize inbound conversion paths and nurture journeys, using marketing automation to capture, score, and progress leads toward sales-readiness.
- Localization: Localize and, where needed, translate global content and campaigns for APAC markets (including Japanese, Chinese and Korean-language content).
Outbound & Events
- Events: Plan and execute outbound activities including industry events, trade shows, conferences, partner/channel events, roundtables, and hosted seminars—owning logistics, promotion, and follow-up.
- Event demand: Drive pre-event demand and post-event lead capture and nurture, ensuring measurable pipeline contribution from each activity.
- ABM support: Support targeted outbound campaigns and account-based marketing in partnership with the sales team.
Operations, Analytics & Collaboration
- Measurement & ROI: Own marketing reporting and analytics—tracking funnel metrics, MQL/SQL conversion, campaign ROI, cost-per-lead, and pipeline contribution—and optimize programs based on data.
- Budget & vendors: Manage the regional marketing budget, agencies, and vendors to maximize return on spend.
- Sales alignment: Partner with sales and customer success to ensure tight lead hand-off, sales enablement content, and alignment on target accounts and messaging.
- Martech: Administer and optimize the marketing technology stack (marketing automation, CRM, analytics, and web).
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 7+ years of B2B marketing experience, with a strong focus on demand generation and content/inbound marketing for technology or SaaS companies.
- Proven track record of building awareness and generating qualified pipeline through integrated, multi-channel campaigns.
- Hands-on experience planning and executing both content/inbound programs and outbound activities such as events.
- Strong command of marketing automation and CRM platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot, Salesforce) and the ability to build and measure funnels.
- Data-driven approach with experience defining KPIs and reporting on funnel performance, campaign ROI, and pipeline contribution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and direct compelling content.
- Fluency in business-level English; for the Japan-based role, native or business-fluent Japanese is required.
- Experience marketing to or within APAC markets, with cultural fluency across the region.
PREFERRED / DESIRABLE
- Experience marketing PRM, channel/partner, marketing automation, or other channel/GTM technology.
- Understanding of indirect/channel go-to-market models and partner ecosystems (distributors, resellers, system integrators, alliances).
- Experience with account-based marketing (ABM) tooling and strategies.
- Familiarity with SEO, paid media, and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Additional regional language skills (e.g., Mandarin, Korean, Bahasa) are a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
SUCCESS IN THE FIRST 12 MONTHS
- First 90 days: learn the platform, market, and personas; audit existing programs; and build the regional marketing and demand-generation plan.
- Months 4–6: launch integrated content/inbound campaigns and at least one flagship event, and establish baseline funnel and pipeline metrics.
- Months 7–12: deliver consistent marketing-sourced pipeline against target and demonstrate measurable ROI and brand growth in priority APAC markets.
