Senior Manager, E-Commerce

About The Role:

This role is responsible for driving sales planning, inventory management, pricing strategy, and sales action planning across Michael Kors' e-commerce business in Japan. You will manage sales, inventory, and gross margin across multiple channels — including owned EC, Outlet, and EC malls — while collaborating closely with MD, Retail, BP&A, Digital Marketing, and Logistics to maximize sales and improve inventory efficiency.

What You’ll Bring:

We’re looking for someone with the following experience and skills — but these aren’t set in stone. If you bring something extra to the table, we’d love to hear from you!

  • Experience in sales management, inventory management, or business management in retail, apparel, fashion, FMCG, or e-commerce
  • Experience in MD, Merchandising Planning, Allocation, Demand Planning, Sales Planning, FP&A, or Business Planning
  • Experience in sales, inventory, and gross margin analysis using Excel or similar tools
  • Experience collaborating across multiple departments to identify issues and propose solutions based on data
  • Ability to assess challenges in sales planning from the perspective of inventory, pricing, and product assortment

We’d Love to See:

  • Experience in e-commerce, EC malls, or owned site operations
  • Experience managing sales and inventory for Outlet, Sale, or Markdown products
  • Experience in apparel, bags, accessories, or luxury goods
  • Cross-functional experience with MD, Retail, Finance, or Marketing
  • Experience with pricing and markdown strategies using AUR, GM, COGS, and OFF rate
  • Experience with BI tools, dashboards, or reporting tools
  • Business-level English proficiency

  • Thinks beyond EC to consider store operations and company-wide inventory strategy
