Your Team

The Customer Engagement & Brand team sits within Customer Office. This team includes Brand, Customer Engagement, Customer Communications and Studio functions. It has been designed to leverage their strong alignment and drive CFS Brand and Direct Member strategies.

Reporting to the Director of Communications within Customer Office, as a Senior Manager, Communications you play a vital role in providing members and investors with the tools, insights, and messaging to guide them toward financial freedom. You also equip licensees, advisers and employers to manage change including supporting their clients/employees.

Your Responsibilities

  • Drive engagement and build reputation, meeting regulatory obligations, and supporting members through change.
  • Communication lead on projects and initiatives including planning to reflect customer impacts and opportunities, stakeholder engagement and management, development of assets, deployment, and tracking outcomes.
  • End-to-end design and development of communications and content
  • Own the development and execution of communications strategies
  • Own end-to-end execution of campaigns, reporting and post-implementation-review and insight elements
  • Demonstrate sound management of external agency and internal support function partners through appropriate briefing, feedback approach with respect – streams may include data, martech, media, creative and events
  • Work closely with the Customer Engagement (marketing) team to deliver an improved customer experience through alignment of messages and timing of activity, as well as by identifying further opportunities beyond communications to engage members.
  • Consult with the Business Marketing team on messages and timing where there is an impact to advisers and employers
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives to position the organisation as an industry leader
  • Act as the Director’s delegate as required.

Your Capability and Experience

  • 10 + years in marketing or communications within financial services is essential
  • Proven track record of creating and executing successful communications campaigns Experience working with institutional clients, such as banks, insurers, or asset managers
  • Ability to translate financial concepts into compelling communication messages Understanding of regulatory environment, with support of those with specialism in this space
  • Outstanding management of stakeholder relationships at all levels across the business and external partners.
  • Adaptable to fast-paced environments and capable of managing multiple priorities
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong project management and organisational abilities
  • Prove ability to negotiate the best outcome for the customer
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field
