Senior Digital Tag Management Analyst
The purpose of the Senior Digital Tag Management Analyst role is to lead and implement good practice in the digital data instrumentation of enterprise HCF digital estate.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and Develop Scalable Digital Analytics Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of scalable digital analytics solutions, ensuring alignment with the enterprise’s digital analytics architecture.
- Drive Strategic Data Initiatives: Lead strategic initiatives to enhance digital data capabilities, ensuring alignment with broader business goals and objectives.
- Innovate Advanced Tagging Solutions: Identify and implement cutting-edge tagging solutions to future-proof digital data collection capabilities.
- Oversee Digital Data Collection and Tagging: Manage and maintain the digital data collection and tagging of HCF digital assets, delivering a best-in-class data layer that supports market-leading identity management, reporting, and segmentation capabilities.
- Define and Implement Digital Data Layer Requirements: Collaborate with the developer community to define digital data layer requirements, oversee tag implementation, and support comprehensive testing phases including data validation dashboards.
- Ensure Data Integrity and Operational Efficiency: Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tagging and data collection, performing regular data validation checks to maintain data integrity and ensure smooth operations.
- Centralize Digital Data Tagging Documentation: Create and maintain a central repository of digital data tagging requirements and solution design documents.
- Optimize Tag Implementation Governance: Develop and optimize frameworks to enhance tag implementation governance practices, continuously contributing to the practice’s evolution.
- Collaborate Across Business Units: Partner with enterprise digital, marketing, technology, and other business units to expand digital data coverage across the enterprise.
- Govern Digital Data Pipelines: Establish and govern digital data pipelines with the enterprise customer data platform (Adobe RT CDP) to enrich customer profiles for experimentation and personalization.
- Identify and Address Insight Needs: Work with Digital Teams to identify insight needs, agree on digital data sets, and define requirements for KPI monitoring and digital optimization.
- Provide Technical Expertise in A/B Testing and Optimization: Offer technical support and strategic advice in A/B testing and insights-driven optimization for website performance via Adobe Target, while maintaining tag management and data validity across HCF.
- Stay Ahead of Industry Trends: Keep abreast of the latest trends and advancements in digital analytics and data collection technologies, ensuring the organization remains at the forefront of the industry.
- Enhance Customer Experience: Utilize digital analytics to drive improvements in customer experience, leveraging data insights to inform strategic decisions and optimize digital touchpoints.
Essential Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in a similar role with experience in Digital data collection and tag implementation and running multivariate test for insight-based optimisation.
- Proven experience in managing large-scale digital analytics projects.
- Strong understanding of digital analytics tools and platforms (e.g., Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics).
- Strong understanding of tag management data layer.
- Working knowledge with JavaScript.
- Experience working directly with developers in implementing analytic solutions.
- Experience within an optimisation program aimed at improving onsite conversion.
- Experience in online marketing campaigns, across channels including SEO, SEM, Display and Social.
- Adobe Analytics and Target extensive experience (preferable).
- A generative mindset. You come from a place of possibility, think on your feet and outside the square and adapt well to change.
DESIRABLE
- Tertiary qualifications in Business or Marketing (desirable) or other relevant qualification.
- Experience in customer data platforms such as AEP to contribute in the website personalisation activities is desirable.
