The Role 
We’re looking for a passionate and talented Sr Data Analyst to join our rapidly growing and ambitious team. The Sr Data Analyst will play a key role in delivering insights across the business and is primarily responsible for supporting the Marketing Science team with high quality-controlled data that includes pipeline maintenance, ETL, data harmonisation and validation. The Sr Data Analyst will also prepare appropriate visualisations and presentations for key agency and client stakeholders. Working hand in hand with the Marketing Science team you will gain first hand exposure to commercial data science practices 
  
In your role you will play a key role in operating the analytics tools across the business, staying informed and keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices. You will fundamental knowledge of marketing research and data analytics with the innate ability to tell a story utilising the data to contextualise the information and promote its relevance in the delivery of key business metrics for our clients. 
  
Reporting to the General Manager Marketing Science, the Sr Data Analyst will work within a team of BI Consultants, Data Scientists and Data Engineers. This provides an exciting opportunity to grow and develop your skills in the years to come. 
  
Required Experience 
Candidates should have 3-5 years’ relevant and practical experience building marketing analytics solutions (MMM, audience or sales modelling, business intelligence), ideally within an enterprise business, agency or consultancy. 
  
  • Media Data Experience including deep knowledge of both offline media data and all digital platforms eg ad servers, Facebook, Google Ads, Campaign Manager, DV360, etc. 
  • Cloud based Data Warehousing Experience - GCP, AWS, Azure - GCP preferred 
  • Data Harmonisation, Data Validation & Model Data Preparation 
  • Exposure to data science in a fast paced agency environment 
  • Technical competency in R &/or Python and SQL 
  • Proficiency with BI platforms eg Tableau, Looker, Power BI 
  • A degree ideally in economics, statistics, computer science, data science or a quantitative discipline. 
  • Excellent presentation skills, distilling complex analysis and concepts into concise business-focused takeaways  
  
Preferred Experience (desirable but not essential) 
  • Any experience in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques (feature engineering, regression, classification, segmentation, cross validation, Bayesian techniques) 
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (i.e. Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage. 
  • Front-end web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS etc)
