ABOUT THE ROLE

The Sales & Marketing Associate is responsible for growing Zamara’s retail client base and deepening engagement with existing clients. The role spans lead generation, client communications, sales enablement, and event execution to ensure Zamara’s retail proposition reaches the right audiences and converts interest into lasting relationships.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

In more detail, the areas of responsibility include

  • Marketing & Lead Generation
    Develop and execute multi-channel lead generation campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, email, and retargeting, with a clear focus on qualified leads and measurable outcomes
    Work with the broader Zamara Marketing Team to deliver go-to-market activity for retail products, ensuring campaigns are timely, on-brand, and commercially directed
    Manage the CRM as a strategic marketing tool, maintaining data quality, building targeted audience segments, and ensuring leads flow efficiently to the Front Office Team for conversion
    Track and analyse campaign performance across channels; translate data into insights that improve future planning and return on marketing investment
    Ensure all retail marketing output adheres to Zamara’s brand standards, tone of voice, and regulatory communication requirements
  • Sales Enablement & Collateral
    Develop high-quality, accurate sales materials for Financial Advisors and Product Specialists – including proposal packs, product presentations, competitive briefs, and objection-handling guides
    Partner with the Product team to produce and maintain retail marketing collateral ensuring materials are current, compliant, and compelling
    Maintain a well-organised, up-to-date library of approved retail sales and marketing assets accessible to the Front Office team
    Support the Front Office on targeted sales and marketing initiatives, providing materials and coordination as required
    Ensure all client-facing materials are reviewed and approved before distribution, meeting product accuracy and regulatory standards
  • Client Engagement & Events
    Develop and distribute client communications, newsletters, product updates, offers, and AGM materials, that strengthen existing relationships and support retention across the client base
    Plan and execute client-facing events including product launches, client activations, workshops, and AGMs, managing logistics, attendee communications, on-the-day coordination, and post-event follow-up
    Monitor client engagement metrics across channels and events; use data to refine the communications and events strategy over time
    Coordinate cross-functionally to ensure client engagement activity is well-timed, well-resourced, and aligned with the broader retail commercial plan
    Conduct special projects as assigned from time to time

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION

The following experience is preferred:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Media, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5-7 years’ experience in marketing, communications, or sales support within financial services or a similarly regulated environment
  • Demonstrated experience planning and executing campaigns across digital and traditional channels
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and marketing automation tools
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to adapt tone and content across diverse audiences
  • Good knowledge of Zamara retail products is an advantage
