- Create rural and primary industry content
- Full-time, permanent
- Base salary $81K - $99K
- Present engaging Rural & Primary Industry stories or News, Q&A’s, interviews and packages across all platforms, including breaking stories.
- Prepare and present content for the Rural Report and Country Hour.
- Contribute to the implementation of the Local Emergency Coverage plan.
- Identify and develop local content that can be shared with other content teams and across the ABC on multiple platforms.
- An accomplished reporter and presenter
- Experienced in creating authentic content for radio and digital platforms that represents the broad diversity of the Australian community.
- Experienced in rural and resources journalism and with an in-depth understanding of rural, resources and regional issues
- Knowledgeable about local, national and international rural issues
- Able to travel to remote locations when required

ABC Alice Springs and Katherine is seeking a Reporter who is keen to work and live in one of the most interesting places in Australia, bringing creative ideas to reporting on rural and primary industry issues in the Top End.
