What You’ll Be Doing: Writing and gathering fresh, original news stories for print and digital publication.

Key Responsibilities:

• Building positive relationships with key people and organisations
• Breaking exciting news stories and creating engaging content
• Contributing to news planning meetings and working closely with the Northern Papers Editor
• Interviewing and photographing subjects with confidence and professionalism
• Representing our company in a positive, professional manner

What You Bring:

• A genuine interest in local news, sport, and photography
• Familiarity with digital platforms and social media
• A strong team player who is eager to learn and collaborate
• Ability to thrive under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• A valid driver’s license
