Among all the Master’s programmes offered by the School, the Office of MBA (Chinese) Programmes administers two part-time MBAs taught in Chinese to meet the leadership development needs of working professionals in Hong Kong, Chinese Mainland, and the region. The MBA Programme in Finance (FMBA) stands out as a highly selective programme designed to attract highly motivated professionals from the financial and related business sectors. The newly launched MBA Programme in Technology and Innovation (TI-MBA), delivered in collaboration with a partner institution, is designed to cultivate talent in technology and related disciplines. The School is now looking for an experienced Project Co-ordinator II to join the Office of MBA (Chinese) Programmes.
Reporting to the Team Head of Marketing & Admission, the appointee will be responsible for:
- Marketing matters: (a) assisting in creative planning and daily operations for the official website and social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn); (b) supporting the planning and execution of admission events, branding activities, and related marketing activities; (c) co-ordinating with internal departments and external service providers to ensure smooth project delivery; (d) participating in online ad placements and monitoring post-campaign performance to ensure ROI; (e) managing marketing data, tracking market trends, and providing actionable feedback to the team; (f) handling internal administrative and financial matters related to admissions and marketing operations; and (g) performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Admission matters: (a) collaborating with the University’s Graduate School to ensure a smooth offer issuance process, and liaising with the student learning development team; (b) ensuring the accuracy and timely updating of admissions data, and analysing it to generate insights for the leadership team; (c) responding promptly to public enquiries via phone, email, and social media channels, providing information to Chinese Mainland students on visa application and relocation, as well as hosting pre-arrival events as needed; and (d) performing other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
- Business travel to Chinese Mainland and other locations is required.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a Master’s degree; (ii) at least 3 years’ post-qualification work experience, preferably in the tertiary institution, sales, marketing, or client management sectors; (iii) the ability to work effectively as a good team member; (iv) strong communication and interpersonal skills; (v) strong organizational and project co-ordination skills; (vi) proficiency in digital marketing tools and data analysis; (vii) the ability to multitask and work under tight deadlines; and (viii) an excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua). Having work experience in top-tier business school programmes is preferred. Shortlisted candidates may be invited to sit for written test(s) as appropriate.
Appointment will initially be made on a 2-year contract with contract-end gratuity, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
