    Are you a morning person with a passion for storytelling and connecting with local communities? ABC is seeking an experienced and passionate breakfast/Producer to join our team in Kalgoorlie.

    As a Producer in Kalgoorlie, you will generate content for ABC radio and digital for the Goldfields and Esperance regions serving our audience from the desert to the sea.

    The Job

    As the Producer, you will be the driving force for ABC's local radio for the Goldfields and Esperance region. You'll be responsible for creating engaging and informative content that resonates with our diverse audience. From breaking news to community events, you'll have the opportunity to shape the conversation and bring the region's stories to life.

    You will be responsible for:

    • Researching, writing, and delivering on-air content for the early programs.
    • Identifying and developing compelling local stories that reflect the unique character of the Goldfields and Esperance region.
    • Conducting interviews and facilitating on-air discussions with community members, experts, and stakeholders.
    • Collaborating with the news team to ensure seamless integration of local and national digital news coverage.
    • Engaging with the audience through various platforms, including social media and community events.
