Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and highly organised Producer to join the Drive production team, reporting directly to the Production Director. In this vital operational role, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of diverse content across digital, social, print, radio, and TV, ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and to brief. You will also take the lead on managing marquee special projects, including the prestigious Drive Car of the Year awards.
Day to day you will:
- Coordinate the end-to-end production lifecycle, ensuring all assets are planned, scoped, and delivered on time and within budget.
- Lead the project management of key initiatives, such as the Drive Car of the Year awards, from planning to publication.
- Maintain and optimise our project management system (Monday.com) to ensure clear visibility on content status.
- Foster a proactive safety culture by adhering to OH&S policies and delivering briefings for all production activities.
- Manage production financials, including tracking Purchase Orders, overseeing budgets, and executing cost reporting.
- Identify and implement tools, including AI-driven workflows, to enhance editorial efficiency, quality, and output.
- Manage the photography team and provide clear direction for logistics, talent, and videography workflows.
What you'll bring:
- Extensive prior experience in media production, content coordination, or similar operational roles.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects and budgets using platforms such as Monday.com.
- Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating teams to achieve high performance and professional development.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a solid understanding of production OH&S requirements.
- A valid driver’s licence and a genuine passion for the automotive industry.
