Partner Marketing Manager - ASEAN, APJ Partner Marketing

In this role, you will work with a select group of strategic partners to help

the partners develop and deliver demand generation activities that enable
partners to acquire new customers, retain and grow existing customers and
deliver growth in revenue from AWS services. You will act as the primary
marketing contact for these strategic partner(s), working extensively with
stakeholders within the partner organization, AWS Partners and Sales units.

The ideal candidate will have creative marketing ideas; combined with extensive
analytic and data-driven customer demand generation experience. Candidate will
possess a business background, comfortable with executive engagement and able to
communicate (written and oral) to both technical and non-technical audiences.
You should be detail-oriented and organized, capable of handling multiple
projects at once, and comfortable dealing with ambiguity and rapidly changing
priorities. You will work closely with the partners and the partner sales team
to identify specific customer segments and industry verticals to market to with
a compelling joint value proposition for using AWS. A solid understanding of
cloud architecture and the cloud landscape are critical to this role.

Key job responsibilities

  • Creating and executing partner marketing strategies and plans for partner, in
    collaboration with Partner Managers/Business leaders with the goal of maximizing
    AWS revenue through these partners and to achieve revenue targets.
  • Understanding processes and methodologies (funnel, BANT qualification etc.,)
    is one of the key requirements of the role.
  • Understanding of the operational aspects of marketing, including strategic
    marketing plan development, management of marketing budget(s), creation of
    collaterals including joint content, customer references.
  • Implementing methods to track and evaluate the impact of partner marketing
    funding on our business and reporting the results. This includes driving lead
    management, ROI analysis and reporting of both partner and AWS driven marketing
    activity.
  • Incorporating AWS solutions within the partners go-to-market model;
    integrating AWS products and services within the partners solutions
  • Facilitating partner development and marketing enablement initiatives that
    accelerate the partner’s ability to effectively position and sell AWS solutions
    (integrated campaign development and deployment, lunch and learns, webcasts,
    partner communications, road shows, partner sales success stories, battle cards,
    etc.). Achieving marketing readiness is a key deliverable of this role.
  • Coordinating regional within Field Marketing teams to scale field/channel
    marketing efforts through joint engagements with select partner(s).

Basic Qualifications:

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
  • 7+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs
    experience
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot
    tables)
  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
  • Experience developing and executing campaigns across a multitude of timezones
    and languages

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience driving direction and alignment with large cross-functional teams and agency partners
  • Experience designing and executing joint marketing plans with strategic
    alliance partners with global footprint
