Paid Social Media Manager (MEL or SYD location)

We have a fantastic opportunity for an engaged and passionate content creator and paid social rockstar to join our CREATE team. This role is a contract role until December 2025 with a view to permanency with an immediate start.

You will be involved in supporting and managing branded content campaigns across META, from native article content writing through to social media ads trafficking and campaign optimisation.

This role does not involve staff management and would suit someone who has a thorough understanding of the power of social media, META and all things content related and has a passion to learn and evolve your campaign optimisation skills and bringing authentic content to life via the Smooth and Nova tones of voice!

This role can be based in Melbourne or Sydney.

• You are skilled at crafting, optimising and scaling paid ad campaigns, pushing the boundaries of what's possible with exceptional results.
• You will regularly collaborate with the Head of Integrated Delivery, Graphic Designers and Project Managers to devise and implement effective digital marketing/paid media strategies.
• You will function as the gatekeeper for campaign content published on the Nova websites.
• You are data-driven and love tracking and analysing social media performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and content.
• You will be responsible for providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs
• This role is responsible for ensuring client content requests and campaign execution is in line with the Nova Entertainment content strategy and brand tone.
• You have been doing a similar role in a similar industry (media/advertising) either here or overseas.

More specifically, other desired skills would include:

• 3+ years of proven work experience as a Paid Social Media Specialist or in a similar role
• Social media obsessed with the ability to identify the latest trends
• 2 years media experience within the Media / Agency Industry
• Ability to HUSTLE, roll up your sleeves and get stuff done
• Excellent visual communication skills and proficiency in a creative tools
• Proven experience as a social media manager or digital content expert
• Exceptional writing and communication skills, with the highest attention to detail
• Previous experience working in branded content across a variety of clients
• A seasoned pro at all things Microsoft Office – Outlook, PowerPoint & Excel
• An advanced understanding of ad serving platforms including but not limited to: Meta, LinkedIn, TikTok, Reddit and more
• A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices.
• Curiosity-driven and an ability to learn fast.
