About the role

Looking to build your media career in a role where you’ll see how large‑scale retail campaigns come to life? As a Paid Media Analyst at Bunnings, you’ll support the planning and delivery of paid media activity across traditional and digital channels, working closely with our in‑house teams and agency partners. It’s a hands‑on, development‑focused role where you’ll build strong media foundations, gain real campaign exposure and be supported by a collaborative team.

What’s involved

  • Have a foundational understanding of the media landscape, including traditional and digital channels
  • Knowledge of ATL channels (TV, Audio, Outdoor, Print) and their role within the media mix
  • Demonstrates a strong interest in further developing digital media expertise too, particularly across social and programmatic channels
  • Partner with media agencies and internal teams to help translate briefs into effective media activity
  • Support the end‑to‑end delivery of paid media campaigns across channels
  • Responsible for the coordination of media timelines, specs and approvals with internal teams and agency partners
  • Own Local Area Marketing campaigns from brief through to reporting
  • Bring fresh thinking and ideas to continuously improve outcomes
  • Help deliver post‑campaign reporting, insights and learnings
  • Coordinate Monthly Competitive Reports.
  • Manage media invoicing processes and support financial reporting requirements

About you

You’re organised, curious and keen to grow your media skills. You enjoy working with different stakeholders, take pride in accuracy and follow‑through, and are comfortable juggling multiple priorities. You’ll be joining a supportive, team‑first environment where collaboration and learning are genuinely valued.

You’ll need

  • Ideally 1–2 years’ experience in marketing or a media/agency role
  • A foundational understanding of paid media (or strong desire to build it)
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail
  • Clear communication skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Tertiary qualification in Marketing or a related field or equivalent experience (advantageous)
  • Proficiency across Microsoft Office suite to support reporting and coordination
