Oracle Security and Controls Specialist | Manager | Digital and Controls Assurance
Job Description & Summary
At PwC Australia, we recognise that technology is key to trusted business decisions. In Digital and Controls Assurance, you'll help organisations build trust in their Oracle technology and AI solutions as they transform the way they work.
As a Manager in the Oracle Security and Controls team within Digital and Controls Assurance, you will work alongside organisations undergoing complex Oracle-based transformations, helping them deliver secure, well-controlled finance processes. This may include designing and implementing Oracle security and automated controls as part of implementation programs. For other clients, you will be responsible for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of delivered controls. Increasingly, this will involve helping organisations manage and mitigate risks from Oracle’s AI solutions. By building skills in Oracle technology and AI advisory and assurance, you’ll play a role in creating a more trustworthy, explainable and responsible digital world.
Why PwC?
At PwC Australia, your skills meet purpose. We tackle big challenges across industries like finance, technology, energy, and health—giving you the chance to make a real impact. Here, your growth is our priority. You’ll work with leading teams, explore new technologies, and unlock your full potential. Join a global community of more than 370,000 people who value bold ideas, collaboration, and lasting change. Together, we’re building trust and shaping the future.
What you’ll do:
- Lead and manage Oracle security and controls design and implementation workstreams end to end, acting as the primary client contact to identify and mitigate risks in future-state Oracle solutions, and using Oracle functionality such as native automated controls, Risk Management Cloud and access controls.
- Lead the design of Oracle application security, including role design and segregation of duties for both human and agentic AI user accounts.
- Implement Oracle Risk Management Cloud solutions to help organisations monitor access and transaction controls within their Oracle solutions.
- Evaluate clients’ Oracle environments, including access and process controls, as part of pre-implementation programs as well as external and internal audits of Oracle processes and systems.
- Drive continuous improvement and innovation in Oracle security and controls design and assurance methodology, leveraging AI, automation and data analytics to enable technology-driven client delivery.
- Apply your security and controls knowledge to broader IT controls audit engagements assessing and testing controls in clients’ systems.
What we’re looking for:
- 5+ years of proven experience leading Oracle security and controls delivery and assurance engagements within professional services or industry, covering areas such as application controls, IT general controls and process controls.
- Strong technical knowledge of Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM applications from a security and configurable controls perspective.
- Familiarity with Oracle Risk Management Cloud is desirable; implementation experience is an advantage.
- Enjoys leading and mentoring teams, with a focus on technology (including AI) controls advice and assurance.
- Excellent analytical, communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex technical issues into business recommendations.
- Interest or experience in leveraging AI, automation, cloud or data analytics is highly regarded.
- Professional certifications from Oracle are highly regarded, but we value capability, judgement and impact just as much as formal credentials.
What you’ll gain:
- Flexibility means trusting you to choose when, where, and how you work - balancing what’s best for you, your team, and your clients to grow and thrive together.
- Access to tailored learning programs with access to external certifications through strong alliance partnerships (e.g. Oracle, Microsoft) that are designed to develop your skills and unlock your potential.
- Clear paths for career progression supported by continuous learning and leadership development.
- Generous leave entitlements including four weeks’ annual leave and float public holidays to support your work-life balance.
- A world-class parental leave policy offering up to 26 weeks of leave for caregivers, supporting your family and personal life.
