Marketing Specialist (15 months contractor role)
Job Summary
The Marketing team at Schroders is responsible for developing and executing the firm’s marketing strategy in Japan, closely collaborating with colleagues across the Client Group and other internal stakeholders to deliver client-centric solutions in alignment with corporate objectives. This temporary position will support business continuity by planning and delivering a range of marketing initiatives for Institutional Sales, Intermediary Sales and Schroders Capital Business Development.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the creation and updating of high quality marketing materials and contents (such as fund brochures, presentations, website content, email promotions, video, advertisement) primarily using PowerPoint and Excel, under the guidance of permanent staff
- Utilise marketing tools such as Google Analytics, Pardot, Contentstack, Oktopost, and others as required to assist with campaign execution, content management, and reporting
- Assist with proofreading, data gathering, and minor editing of existing marketing content
- Coordinate with other internal teams and external partners as needed to ensure smooth execution of marketing activities
- Provide administrative support for marketing events and digital campaigns, including logistics and basic reporting
- Ensure all deliverables comply with relevant regulations and internal policies, with supervision
- Undertake general support tasks for the marketing team and colleagues within the Client Group
Qualification
- Educated to degree level or equivalent
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and other Office applications
- Experience in the asset management or broader financial services industry is preferred
- Experience in digital marketing area, e.g. CMS, Salesforce, Pardot(or Marketo) is preferred
- Ability to produce and manage documents, presentations, and data with attention to detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Business-level English proficiency (written and spoken) is required for communication with global teams.
