Marketing Manager

Company Description
For more than 20 years, KordaMentha has supported businesses through some of their most complex matters and opportunities. Founder owned and led; we are an advisory firm that helps corporations, financiers, lawyers, private investors and government clients to grow, protect and recover value.
That's what we do, but it’s how we do this that makes us who we are.
Proudly independent, strategically local, and with a bias for action to get things done, we focus on doing what is right by our clients, our people, and the wider community. Our track record shows that we help navigate the best path forward in challenging times, and do so across cities, regions and territories.
In the most stressful or demanding environments, we continue to drive change where it really counts.
Job Description
As the Marketing & Design team, we are the voice of clients and those we aspire to work with. With a strategic mindset, we connect our brand, services and people with clients and the market, driving growth and delivering on our brand promise. We apply pragmatic and creative thinking to deliver client-centric solutions and continually improve how we take the firm to market.
We are looking for a Marketing Manager who is excited by the opportunity to shape and deliver strategic go-to-market activity across the business. Working closely with senior stakeholders, service lines and the wider Marketing & Design team, you will help translate business priorities into targeted campaigns that build brand awareness, strengthen market engagement and deliver measurable impact.
You will lead the planning and delivery of marketing activity across campaigns, content, events, sponsorships and partnerships, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution. We are seeking a marketer who enjoys understanding the brief, bringing creative ideas to the table and developing new ways to engage clients, prospects and target audiences.
This role suits a marketer ready to take management-level ownership, someone who can confidently partner with senior leaders, design and run programmes end-to-end, contribute to broader marketing strategy and governance, and use reporting and insights to demonstrate campaign performance and inform future activity.
Key responsibilities:
Lead the end-to-end development and delivery of integrated marketing campaigns aligned to business objectives.
Partner with senior stakeholders across service lines and locations to understand priorities, define objectives and shape go-to-market strategies.
Develop campaign plans from brief to execution, including messaging, channel strategy, timelines, budgets, governance and delivery milestones.
Identify opportunities to uplift brand awareness and market visibility through targeted campaigns, thought leadership, events, communications, sponsorships and digital activity.
Bring creative thinking to campaign development, identifying new ways to engage clients, prospects and key market audiences.
Drive content strategy and development across written, video, digital and experiential formats to strengthen brand presence.
Brief and manage internal creative/digital teams and external suppliers to deliver high-quality, on-brand outputs.
Lead the delivery of events, sponsorships and partnerships, ensuring strong brand alignment, stakeholder engagement and value realisation.
Track, analyse and report on campaign performance, using key metrics and insights to assess impact, demonstrate value and inform continuous improvement.
Contribute to marketing governance, reporting frameworks, process improvement and consistent national execution.
Act as a trusted marketing advisor to senior stakeholders, providing practical advice, clear direction and disciplined follow-through.
Qualifications
Degree in Commerce, Marketing, PR or a similar discipline.
A minimum of 5 years' marketing experience, ideally gained in a corporate, professional services, consulting or B2B environment.
Demonstrated experience leading campaigns and marketing activity across digital, content, events, sponsorships and partnerships.
Experience developing and delivering strategic marketing initiatives and go-to-market strategies aligned to business objectives.
Strong stakeholder management skills, including confidence engaging senior leaders, understanding business priorities and influencing outcomes.
Experience working within complex professional services or consulting organisations, with an understanding of how strategic marketing supports business growth.
Ability to translate a brief into clear marketing activity and independently drive initiatives from strategy through to execution.
Creative mindset with the ability to identify innovative ways to strengthen brand awareness, engage audiences and maximise campaign impact.
Strong project management capability, including planning, prioritisation, attention to detail and delivery to deadlines.
Strong analytical mindset, with experience establishing success measures, reporting on campaign performance and using insights to drive continuous improvement.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different audiences.
Digital capability and familiarity with marketing platforms, content channels and SEO principles.
Generalist marketing experience with the ability to move confidently between strategy, campaign execution, content, events, reporting and stakeholder engagement.
