Role Impact

It's an exciting time to be in confectionery. With Gumi Yum Surprise going from strength to strength globally and a strong NPD pipeline on the horizon, there has never been a better time to join the candy team. As our Marketing Executive Confectionery, you will help run the full launch journey for new markets from pre-launch build through to post-launch optimisation, while playing an active role in NPD and the wider confectionery team.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end marketing execution for new market launches go-to-market planning, retailer sell-in, launch activation and post-launch review.
  • Develop market-specific launch toolkits leveraging global assets while addressing local nuances.
  • Partner with Sales and Commercial teams to align shopper marketing and in-store execution with the launch plan.
  • Manage launch timelines across multiple markets simultaneously.
  • Serve as the ongoing marketing owner for all live markets — reviewing performance and optimising media, content and in-store activity.
  • Lead localisation and execution of global campaigns across paid and organic channels.
  • Monitor category, competitor and platform trends; bring insights proactively to the team.
  • Maintain retailer listings and ecommerce content across all markets.
  • Contribute consumer and market insights to NPD discussions to help shape new products and extensions.
  • Support transition communications for new series, seasonal moments and major retail events globally.
  • Social content and influencer activity briefs, contracting, content review, media spend and reporting. Including channels like TikTok and YouTube Shorts delivery, ensuring regular posting and always-on testing of best-performing content.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Engagement team on Creator Studio content generation as well as contributing to social content creation.
  • Be the brand guardian ensuring consistency across all markets, channels and touchpoints.

Skills & Experience

  • 1–3 years’ experience in brand or digital marketing, ideally within FMCG, confectionery, or a similarly fast-paced category.
  • Experience executing marketing campaigns, ideally across multiple markets.
  • Strong multitasking and project management skills.
  • A go-getter mindset — curious, creative, solutions-oriented, and willing to test and improve.
  • Highly collaborative, with strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, paid media, and influencer marketing.
  • Reliable, mature, and a self-starter who takes pride in the quality of their work.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively and is excited to contribute to a strong, in-office team culture.
