About the role

The Marketing Coordinator supports the delivery of campaigns that showcase Sydney and NSW as leading tourism destinations. Working within the Marketing Strategy & Campaigns team, you will help coordinate a range of destination marketing activities across multiple channels, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, within budget and in line with approved objectives and NSW Government advertising requirements. The role plays an important part in supporting the smooth day-to-day delivery of campaigns that promote the state to local and interstate audiences.

This role is suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment and has strong organisation and coordination skills. You will provide administrative and project support across campaign planning and delivery, including maintaining campaign schedules, coordinating approvals, preparing presentations and reports, and managing marketing assets and records. You will also contribute to improving processes and maintaining consistent ways of working across the Division, while supporting collaboration with internal teams and external partners.

About You

You have experience supporting the delivery of marketing campaigns across a range of media and promotional channels, including print, TV, digital and social media. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can manage competing priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail and meeting tight deadlines. You will bring experience coordinating campaign activity, preparing marketing content and creative assets, tracking approvals and maintaining accurate documentation and records in line with established processes and governance requirements.

You are organised, proactive and confident providing day-to-day coordination and administrative support across a busy marketing team. With strong communication and relationship management skills, you can work effectively with internal stakeholders, agencies and external partners. Experience in consumer brand, travel or tourism marketing will be highly regarded. You will also prepare reports and presentations, maintaining campaign calendars and marketing asset libraries.
