Position Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing both the marketing and sales functions in a sub-part of the overall organization (major region, region, country, group, division, subsidiary, or other sub-part). Directs and guides the activities of a team or teams of employees performing sales, sales support, and marketing for the designated organization sub-part. Responsibilities may also include overseeing business development and the organization’s service and support functions. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
Responsibilities
The position will be instrumental in leading brand and reputation planning, as well as external cultural building and changing management communications. The incumbent will craft forward-thinking communications strategies that will enhance and elevate our brand, build/maintain a strong network of third-party relationships, drive innovative storytelling, deliver integrated communications plans and work seamlessly across our functions.
- Events management: Develop, coordinate and execute marketing events and initiatives like conferences, online meetings, both for CP and NM
- Support sales team on execution of field events
- Ensure all events are fully compliance
- Play a key role of submission and review process for internal systems, like Medispend and CRB etc.
- Collaborate with global marketing team to support and manage the promotion materials
- Enhance LivaNova branding in China with digital promotion development.
- Draft key messaging and high-quality materials elevate our storytelling and deepen relationships with our stakeholders.
External communication management: Collaborate with Global Communication team and other core functions and leverage AdvaMed and European Chamber resource to influence China relative parties. Drive strategy to strengthen/build third party relationships via high-value engagements, briefings and proactive outreaches.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years in events management experience in Medical MNCs.
- External communication experience is plus
- Fluent in oral and written English
- Expert on compliance process with integrity
- Organized and strategic thinking
- Excellent with digital, electronic and social media use
- Crisis management skills
- Communication skills
- Good interaction and influencing skills with various stakeholders including internal at all levels and external (media, KOLs and industry associations)
- Able to work efficiently under pressure and at multiple tasks
