We are looking for a competent Marketing & BD Director to be in charge of the organization’s marketing team. This primarily involves developing and implementing strategies to strengthen the company’s market presence and drive business growth. The ideal candidate will be an experienced professional with a passion for the job and play a pivotal role in developing and implementing marketing strategies. He/She will be a skilled marketing strategist and able to drive creativity and enthusiasm in others, and and collaborating cross-functionally to achieve business objectives.

Your key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement regional marketing strategies, including positioning, target market segmentation, and promotional tactics, to drive business growth.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to forecast demand and identify growth opportunities, customer retention strategies, and align marketing objectives with the business’s long-term goals.
  • Lead and build a high performance marketing team, including segment marketing, product marketing, marketing communications and business Analysis functions, provide guidance, coaching and feedback to team members
  • Drive the implementation of marketing campaigns that meet business objectives and drive leads
  • Oversee the execute campaigns for promotion, launching of new products etc.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align marketing initiatives with sales, innovation, and other departments for integrated execution.
  • Ensure that the brand identity and values are effectively communicated and connect with the target audience
  • Control budgets and allocate resources amongst projects
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with external partners, agencies, vendors to enhance brand visibility and maximize marketing effectiveness.

You bring

  • Educational level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in science/technology or business-related field. MSc degree desirable
  • Knowledge of and experiences in: 20+ years experience in B2B ingredient/product sales and marketing
  • Passion for nutritional product ingredients, as well as a strong focus and desire to grow this market
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of trends and ability to create a fluid strategy to align with these trends
  • Excellent strategic thinking, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and in a matrix organization
  • Strong communication, presentation and customer facing skills
  • Good Chinese and English communication skills
