ABOUT THE JOB
We are seeking a Marketing Automation Manager to lead the strategy, governance and optimisation of Melbourne Park's marketing automation system.
Reporting to the Head of Digital, you will play a pivotal role in delivering insight-led, personalised experiences for all audiences across Melbourne Park's digital channels. Combining strategic thinking with hands-on technical expertise, you will develop, execute and optimise lifecycle marketing campaigns, drive platform capability and use audience data and analytics to enhance engagement and commercial outcomes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Melbourne Park's marketing automation platform, including lifecycle marketing, audience journeys, audience segmentation and campaign execution.
- Develop and deliver a roadmap to enhance marketing automation capability, governance, quality assurance and platform optimisation.
- Analyse campaign performance, key insights and audience data to optimise content, improve audience experience and achieve commercial objectives.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders, agencies and technology partners and champion best practice marketing automation across the organisation.
ABOUT YOU
You are a strategic and results-driven marketing automation professional who is passionate about creating exceptional audience experiences through data-driven marketing. You combine technology, customer insights and marketing strategy to deliver personalised campaigns and measurable outcomes.
You have:
- Tertiary qualifications in marketing, communications or a related discipline, with at least five years' experience managing marketing automation systems including implementing system quality assurance and governance.
- Demonstrated experience delivering automated customer lifecycle journeys, cross-channel campaigns, audience segmentation, and lead scoring.
- Proven ability to use audience and campaign data and analytics to inform digital strategy and optimise in-flight marketing automation campaigns.
- Strong leadership, project management and stakeholder management skills, including experience working with external agencies and technology vendors to deliver successful digital marketing and platform projects.
Advantageous but not essential:
Experience with Braze or a comparable marketing automation platform, as well as project management tools such as Monday.com.
Experience in conversion rate optimisation, multi-variant testing, heat mapping, user experience (UX), customer experience (CX) or design thinking methodologies.
