Job Description

The Corporate Communications Office (CCO) works to enhance the University’s reputation by raising awareness of NTU’s vision and mission and achievements in education, research and innovation. This digital communications role helps to build awareness of the University’s activities and strengths through the development of suitable content across various owned social media platforms. CCO is home to a world-class team of communicators that has won international, regional and local awards in public relations, marketing and communication over the last decade.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop content opportunities from NTU's diverse research activities, publications and academic milestones for amplification via social media, most notably LinkedIn.
  • Write and edit social media posts for different platforms, accounts and target audiences, adopting the appropriate tone of voice.
  • Manage end-to-end content operations for assigned accounts, including scheduling, publishing, community engagement and performance reporting.
  • Apply platform best practices in format choice, tagging, and hashtags to optimise content reach and discoverability.
  • Track and analyse content performance, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
  • Identify high-performing content for further amplification through both organic and paid means.

Requirements

  • A good bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience in content creation, digital communications or journalism.
  • Proven ability to write across diverse voices – pitched at different levels of seniority – and subject matter, with sensitivity to tone and style.
  • Experience managing corporate and/or executive social media accounts, with a strong working knowledge of LinkedIn as a content platform for professionals.
  • Comfortable with social media analytics and using data to inform content decisions.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and professional maturity in working with senior stakeholders.
  • Highly organised, proactive and able to manage multiple content streams simultaneously.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
