Responsibilities

Strategic Business Development
Develop and execute international growth strategies aligned with Defence Aerospace objectives
Identify, assess, and pursue new business opportunities in global markets (e.g. Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa)
Lead capture efforts for major defence aerospace programs, including MRO, systems integration, aircraft modification, and products.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with clear revenue targets and forecasting accuracy -
Account & Stakeholder Management
Establish and maintain relationships with different stakeholders e.g. OEMs and business partners
Act as a senior interface with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring long-term partnership development
Represent ST Engineering in international defence exhibitions, trade shows, and industry forums. -
Marketing & Positioning
Lead international marketing strategy, including brand positioning, digital campaigns, and thought leadership.
Develop value propositions tailored to regional defence requirements and procurement processes
Oversee market intelligence, competitor analysis, and customer insights to inform strategy. -
Capture & Proposal Leadership
Direct bid and proposal activities for high-value international tenders
Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, finance, legal) to deliver winning proposals
Lead commercial negotiations, contract structuring, and risk management. -
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
Identify and develop partnerships with OEMs, system integrators, and local industry players.
Structure joint ventures, teaming arrangements, and offset partnerships where required.
Support localization strategies in key international markets
Requirements
- Proven track record in securing large-scale international contracts
- Strategic thinking with strong commercial acumen
- Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to navigate complex, multi-country regulatory environments.
- Strong leadership and team-building capabilities
- Cultural agility and experience working across diverse regions
- Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%)
