Mō te tūranga - About the role

As a Marketing Lead in our Customer Marketing Team, you’ll play a critical marketing leadership role for a major transformation project for ANZ. You will be responsible for understanding the projects impact on Marketing and is responsible for the work required to deliver the committed outcomes. You will influence across the project and organisation to keep marketing and customers at the centre of project decisions and priorities. In the role you will work with and influences a range of senior stakeholders across the project and the wider organisation to shape and implement marketing strategies. The role requires a strong understanding of championing customer outcomes in complex business projects and of how to translate requirements in order to design and build best in class marketing programmes.

In the role, you will be accountable for:

  • Overall delivery of the customer and project outcomes defined by the project scorecard & enabled by marketing
  • Marketing Integration: Drive the strategic alignment and integration of marketing practices across all disciplines within the Marketing COE to ensure a unified approach for the major transformation project
  • Strategic Influence: Shape project decisions to deliver positive customer outcomes, brand and reputational impacts
  • Customer Impact: Assess and articulate the marketing and customer implications of technology transformation across channels and touchpoints, with a customer centric perspective.
  • Future capability -Design and build new marketing journeys for specific new product capability, in conjunction with Customer Experience and the Markting squads to drive specific business objectives

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

  • Significant experience in strategic and/or data driven marketing related roles, preferably in the financial services sector
  • Strong understanding of personalisation eco-systems and marketing technology applications
  • Ability to form and gain buy-in for strategic marketing plans to maximise commercial and customer value
  • Project management – demonstrated ability to work across large complex projects and relate to communication requirements
  • Strong communication skills to interpret complex change and technology features into clear customer benefits A customer centric mindset, the ability to influence project direction to optimise outcomes from a customer perspective
  • An understanding of the application of data to drive marketing and customer management opportunities
  • Strong negotiation, influencing and change management skills to build positive relationships with stakeholders including Marketing, senior stakeholders and wider business
