We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join Hang Seng Investment as the Head of Marketing and Channel Commercialization reporting to CEO of Hang Seng Investment.
Principal Responsibilities
- Define and lead robust marketing strategies to drive ETF (aka ETP) market leadership, broaden distribution channels, increase product penetration, and strengthen thought leadership across Hong Kong, Mainland China, and international markets.
- Strengthen brand positioning through integrated campaigns, leveraging digital marketing, media engagement, and thought leadership.
- Champion growth and visibility of the TraHK by developing integrated marketing, investor education and partnership initiatives to boost fund inflow, expand investor base and reinforce its position as Hong Kong’s flagship ETF.
- Drive distribution growth by converting new business prospects identified via marketing events, industry engagements, top-tier financial partnerships, and cross-market collaborations.
- Accelerate the commercialization of distribution channels, including brokerage, banking, and wholesale platforms, to optimize conversion and retention. Lead ongoing partner and client engagement initiatives to support business growth and increase assets under management.
- Oversee departmental performance, including budget management, KPI tracking, and resource allocation. Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to senior management for continuous improvement.
- Stay abreast of regulatory requirements to ensure all customer communications and initiatives are compliant to FIM and related policies.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing marketing and commercialization team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Requirements
- University degree or above in Marketing, Business Management, Business Administration, Finance, or related disciplines
- Significant work experience in banking or asset management with exposure in branding, marketing, sales, client engagement, digital, event management and project management, with specific expertise in ETPs or investment products
- Familiar with the asset management business and its related activities
- Proven leadership experience managing multi-functional teams (e.g. marketing, sales, digital) in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with ability to inspire the teams and influence senior stakeholders
- Results-oriented with a track record of achieving KPI in brand uplift, market penetration and revenue growth
- Proficiency in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin Chinese
