Growth Marketing and Analytics Manager

About the role
The Growth Marketing and Analytics Manager will play a pivotal role in helping Mamamia understand its audience, their interests, and how they engage with our content and commercial campaigns. This high-impact position sits at the intersection of marketing, content, product, and data, aiming to drive smarter audience acquisition, deeper engagement, and strategic innovation. You will lead a team focused on actionable intelligence that informs content strategy, marketing campaigns, product decisions, and enhances organisational data literacy.
Here's some of the stuff you can expect to be doing if you join us:
- Analyse emerging market and platform trends in women's media to identify new content and product opportunities.
- Develop and deliver strategic insights to drive audience acquisition, retention, and engagement across the funnel.
- Provide leadership on content strategies based on audience behaviour, competitive analysis, and trend signals.
- Own Mamamia's audience survey pipeline from design and implementation to analysis and insight delivery.
- Support data-informed marketing initiatives across the funnel, identifying cross-promotional opportunities.
- Manage and mentor your team, prioritising workload and balancing long-term business objectives with immediate needs.
- Oversee and evolve dashboards, reports, and tools for stakeholders to self-serve key audience data.
- Improve data literacy across the organisation through workshops, training, and regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
Now, a bit about you
- You have 5+ years in audience research, marketing analytics, and/or insights.
- You possess strong quantitative research experience, managing end-to-end research and interpreting data into actionable marketing strategies.
- You are experienced with survey and data tools such as Q, Alchemer, SPSS, Excel, SQL, Google Analytics, and social platform insights.
- You excel at translating complex data into compelling narratives that influence decision-making.
- You have proven experience leading or managing a team and collaborating across multiple departments.
- You can adapt a measured approach and drive process improvement initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
- You are passionate about women's media, digital innovation, and growth through audience intelligence.
