Group Digital Lead
What's the role?
At News Corp Australia, we’re shaping the future of digital media through data-led insight, powerful storytelling and innovative commercial solutions. We’re looking for a commercially astute and strategically minded senior Digital Partner to drive digital revenue growth within our Client Partnerships team.
This is a pivotal role focused on elevating digital capability, embedding sophisticated digital thinking into client strategies, and unlocking growth opportunities across our diverse portfolio of digital assets.
About the role:
- Act as the digital subject matter expert within the Client Partnerships team, guiding best practice and strategic application of digital products and solutions.
- Partner with Client Partners and Group Client Partners to develop integrated, data-led digital strategies that align with client objectives and drive measurable revenue growth.
- Translate complex product features, audience data and ad tech capabilities into compelling, commercially sound client value propositions.
- Identify and unlock new digital revenue opportunities through proactive planning, product alignment, and strategic client engagement.
- Analyse sales performance metrics including revenue, pipeline, conversion and forecasting to identify trends, gaps and growth opportunities.
- Present campaign results and strategic insights to senior internal and external stakeholders, demonstrating value and optimisation opportunities.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration, embedding digital thinking across planning, trading, performance and product teams while providing structured market feedback to inform the product roadmap.
- Rapidly diagnose and resolve delivery challenges in collaboration with key stakeholders to safeguard revenue streams and maintain high-value external partnerships.
Who are you?
An experienced digital media professional (3–5+ years) with a proven track record in digital strategy, digital products, digital sales or revenue growth roles. Commercially astute and analytics-savvy, with a deep understanding of digital platforms, audience behaviour, programmatic and performance-led solutions.
A strategic thinker who can see ahead to market trends and translate them into actionable, revenue-generating strategies. A confident communicator and presenter, skilled at delivering persuasive, insight-led proposals to senior stakeholders.
A collaborative partner who builds strong cross-functional relationships and brings others on the digital journey, internally and externally. Results-driven and resilient, with a strong focus on delivering meaningful outcomes even in complex and fast-paced environments.
