Finance Adviser

The Role

ABC Finance is looking for a Finance Adviser to work with the Finance team to provide financial and analysis, reporting and support across their operational and strategic activities. The role will be focussed on advising the Product and Technology division, where you will:

• Manage/Coordinate budget planning, management and monitoring, including month-end and forecasting processes.
• Manage/ Coordinate financial reporting and business area financial analysis and advice.
• Analyse and report on financial trends as required and to support the Finance Manager P&T and Finance Business Partner P&T on ad-hoc projects and initiatives.
• Foster and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders.

About You

With proven financial and analytical skills and the ability to analyse data, provide insights and communicate effectively with non-finance stakeholders, you will bring:

• Advanced analytical, financial modelling and problem-solving skills in evaluating information, with an ability to proactively identify issues and reach sound conclusions.
• Demonstrated knowledge of management accounting and budgetary control techniques, with proven sound working knowledge of budgetary control procedures and systems.
• Membership (or studying) of a relevant professional accounting body and appropriate tertiary qualifications in Accounting.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and management and manage key stakeholder relationships.
• Naturally collaborative workstyle within and across teams, with a willingness to step in and assist team members during busy periods.
