Reporting to: Head of Product & Event Design
Purpose
This role is responsible for the design and delivery of a portfolio of VRC event and precinct-based products across race day, non-race day, and off-course experiences.

The role leads the design, development, delivery oversight, and continuous improvement of customer experiences, ensuring alignment with VRC’s Product & Event Design strategy. With a strong focus on commercial performance, customer outcomes, and innovation, the Product Manager drives the evolution of market-leading experiences that enhance engagement, grow revenue, and strengthen the VRC brand.

Stakeholders
Internal: C-Suite, Executive General Managers, Department Heads & Managers and the wider VRC Team.
External: Suppliers, Vendors, Stakeholders, Partners, Sponsors, Members and Guests, and the wider industry networks and associations.

Focus
Lead concept development, planning, pre-production, delivery, and post-event review across an allocated product portfolio, in line with the strategy set by the Innovation team.
Develop customer journeys and experience frameworks that translate brand strategy into physical, sensory, and emotional experiences.
Influence and manage product performance across revenue, attendance, yield, and engagement, identifying opportunities for premiumisation, packaging, and upselling.
Act as the central product owner, aligning customer, operations, marketing, partnerships, and hospitality teams to the product vision and desired outcomes.
Navigate complex production challenges and adapt quickly in high-pressure, fast-paced environments while maintaining excellence in delivery.
Oversee product and event delivery in partnership with Operations and Customer teams, ensuring execution aligns with product design intent and customer expectations.
Lead by example to foster a high-performing, collaborative environment with Producers, Executives, and broader stakeholders.

Success Measures (KPIs)
Product performance – attendance and spend per head.
Financial performance – within 5% variance of forecast versus actual event budget.
100% compliance with OH&S, legal, and internal operational standards.
Delivery excellence – successful execution aligned with the product vision.
