The Role
In this new role, you'll collaborate with Metro and Regional teams to deliver impactful stories, investigations, and event coverage across multiple platforms. You'll support the State Editor and Deputy Editor with planning and logistics while helping drive strategic changes to enhance our storytelling and audience engagement.

About You
You are a seasoned Editor with senior-level journalism experience in News/Current Affairs and expertise in managing editorial and production functions. You will have a proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams and are passionate about representing Australia’s cultural diversity. You also have great ideas, excellent organisation and planning skills and the ability to create coverage plans for breaking news and large events.
