Data Specialist - Audiences

The Role

In this role you will undertake data integrations, operations support and data deliverability in Audience Data & Insight to construct and deliver specialised data solutions in line with ABC strategy and objectives.

Under general direction you will design, develop and maintain the necessary code for data integration/ transformation required in multi-cloud-based infrastructures such as Amazon Web Services/ Snowflake

The Job

• Design and develop complex data schema and tables to support reports and dashboards required by various business areas.
• Work collaboratively across AD&I to deliver data solutions which support the efficient delivery of audience insights
• Collaborate with Insights and Digital Product Managers to embed data collection, analysis and data services.
• Develop data models that align with business requirements, which includes considering all technical limitations to ensure the delivery of the Audience data strategy.
• Facilitate high quality, reliability and accuracy for the ongoing data solutions by understanding the meaning and nature of ABC Audience data, as well as the processes involved for extraction from internal or external platforms.

About You

You are a Data Specialist with excellent presentation, communication and interpersonal skills. You have an ability to convey moderately complex findings and ideas in a clear and concise manner.

You’ll have:

• Demonstrated experience in contributing to successful data projects for a large organisation
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud based data warehousing architecture and enterprise data platforms and cloud service such as AWS S3 and Redshift, Python, R, MS SQL Servers, DBT and big-Query.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience working with big data solutions such as Amazon Web Services, Redshift Spectrum, Athena, Hadoop, Hive and Snowflake.
• Accomplished planning, organisational and strategic thinking skills with the ability to strategically contribute to a team environment within a process driven setting.
