Department Overview
Rakuten Fashion is a fashion e-commerce site that handles a wide range of items, mainly from select store brands such as BEAMS and UNITED ARROWS. Our mission is not only to expand the scale of sales, but also to become a platform that maximizes the value and appeal of brands to end users. As the demand for EC is increasing, we are expanding our business investment and aiming for significant growth. Rakuten Ichiba is one of the largest e-commerce services in Japan, but Rakuten Fashion is still in the position of chasing other companies. We are now looking for new members to expand our marketing team, which is responsible for the growth of this service. Rakuten Fashion marketing team is still growing, and the environment is like a start-up with a lot of uncertainty. Each person is responsible for a wide range of tasks, and if you raise your hand, you can take on any new challenges. To strengthen our structure for further business expansion. While making the most of Rakuten's membership and eco-system, you will be required to take a broad range of ownership while involving stakeholders inside and outside the organization.
Position Details
You will be responsible for placing advertisements in external media with the aim of acquiring new buyers for Rakuten Fashion services. We are looking for specialists who can create their own work, such as challenging new measures and channels.
Specific job duties
- Placing, operating, reporting, and improving advertisements with the aim of acquiring new users
- Managing product feed ads (Google, Criteo, Meta, etc.)
- Optimizing budget allocation
- Analyzing user data and utilizing it in marketing measures
- Planning, executing, and verifying measures
- Considering and proposing other new acquisition measures
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Experience placing ads aimed at acquiring conversions
- Experience placing and managing programmatic ads (especially product feed ads)
- Effectiveness measurement and data analysis using ad tags, tag managers, etc.
Desired Qualifications:
- Experience implementing ad tags, tag managers, and SDKs
- Basic understanding of JavaScript, APIs, XML, etc.
- Experience extracting data using SQL
