COPE is seeking a practical, hands-on Customer Solutions Brand, Bid and Proposals Manager and Coach to strengthen how the business wins work. The role will bring structure, discipline and consistency to bids while lifting capability across the team.
Please note: This is short term contract engagement to reset capability and embed improved disciplines across the business.
What the role will entail:
Lead and improve the end-to-end bid process, so opportunities are well qualified, solutions are clear and executable, and pricing reflects real cost and value. At the same time, coach teams to embed better ways of working.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead major bids and tenders from early stage through to submission
- Introduce clear qualification and pipeline discipline
- Work with sales and operations to define practical, deliverable solutions
- Ensure strong alignment between what is sold and what can be delivered
- Bring structure and consistency to pricing and commercial decisions
- Coach teams to improve bid quality, planning and execution
- Establish a simple operating rhythm for bids, reviews and pipeline
What you will bring to the role:
- Experience coaching or leading sales or bid teams
- Strong process discipline and structured way of working
- Good people skills with the ability to influence across teams
- Comfortable working across sales, operations and finance
- Able to bring clarity, pace and accountability

- Improved win rates on targeted bids
- Earlier and better structured engagement on opportunities
- Clear linkage between bids and delivery outcomes
- Reduced low margin or poorly defined work
