$110,972 – $119,506 salary package - includes base salary ($97,771 - $105,290),
plus employer’s contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading

About the role

This is a temporary full-time opportunity until June 2027. Working as part of a
large, highly collaborative content team, you will develop and deliver content
across a range of digital channels, with a strong focus on website content,
staff and student and communications. You will partner with stakeholders across
the business to interpret briefs, manage content tasks from concept to delivery,
and create content that enhances the user experience.

This position is responsible for creating high-quality, informative, engaging,
compliant and accessible content and communications for a range of purposes and
channels, developed in line with business requirements and objectives.

About you

You are a skilled content professional who can confidently manage the end-to-end
delivery of project-related content deliverables and complex stakeholder
requests. Collaborations with subject matter experts and the broader content
team will support you in crafting compliant, engaging copy that meets the
diverse needs of students, staff or other audiences, and complies with TAFE NSW
brand, style and regulatory standards.

You will bring a strong digital content background, with experience writing for
websites, email communications and other digital channels. You can confidently
interpret a brief, manage competing priorities and build strong stakeholder
relationships to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You’ll need a curious nature and a robust set of analytical problem-solving
skills to navigate the best way forward with some of the more challenging pieces
of copy. To be successful, you’ll possess a customer-centric mindset and a broad
toolkit of specialist digital content skills to support the best outcomes for
staff and learners.

To be considered for this role you will have:

  • Diploma, Advanced Diploma or Associate Degree in a relevant discipline or
    equivalent skills, knowledge and experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in writing a diverse range of copy for a range of
    purposes and digital channels

Highly regarded

  • Familiarity with customer journeys and the principles of content design and
    the ability to apply this knowledge to create user-centric communications and
    content.
  • Strong understanding of Accessibility (including WCAG) and plain English
    standards, and the ability to apply those standards to a range of content
    i.e. PDFs, web content, knowledge, communications.
  • Experience writing communications and knowledge content for complex systems
    and processes with unique policy and procedure requirements.
