Communications Specialist

Tell stories that matter.

At BioMar Australia, communication is more than sharing information—it's about building trust, connecting people and strengthening relationships. As our Communications Specialist, you'll help shape how customers, industry partners, government, local communities and employees experience BioMar.

Working closely with the Head of Product & Marketing, you'll create compelling communications that strengthen our reputation, showcase our expertise and support one of the world's leading aquaculture companies. • Partnering with our Global Marketing team to localise campaigns and ensure brand consistency
  • Measuring communication effectiveness and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Partnering with HR and business leaders to support employee communications and organisational initiatives.

About you

You're a skilled communicator who knows how to turn complex information into compelling stories that engage different audiences. You enjoy building relationships, thinking creatively and working across a broad range of communication channels. You're equally comfortable writing a media release, preparing an executive presentation or capturing a story from the factory floor.

You'll bring:

  • Demonstrated experience in corporate communications, public relations, marketing communications, journalism or a similar communications role.
  • Exceptional written communication and editing skills.
  • Experience developing content across digital, social media and traditional communication channels.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.

You'll stand out if you have:

  • Tertiary qualification in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or a related discipline.

Our feed supports over 45 different species of fish and shrimp in more than 90 countries. We are wholly owned by the Danish industrial group Schouw & Co, which is listed on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange. Read more at: www.biomar.com
