What you'll be up to:

The Commercial Manager (Northern States) is responsible for the effective management, servicing, and growth of QMS Media’s portfolio across NSW, QLD, and the ACT. This role plays a critical part in strengthening relationships with existing landlords, member development partners, and key concession holders while actively identifying and securing new commercial opportunities that expand and enhance QMS’ asset footprint.

The role also works in close partnership with the Development team to ensure the successful and timely delivery of new asset builds and upgrades across northern states, while collaborating cross-functionally with Legal, Finance, Sales, Strategy, Marketing and Operations.

  • Maintain and enhance relationships with strategic stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory authorities to protect concessions and identify growth opportunities.
  • Quantifying the potential media revenues of specific sites and assisting in the development of financial models detailing the capital budgets and potential revenues.
  • Conducting feasibility studies and producing analytical reports.
  • Drafting of Term Sheets, Lease and Licenses in collaboration with the Legal team.
  • Preparation of proposals and presentations.

What we’re looking for:

  • Demonstrable experience in a Commercial Manager position
  • Expert OOH product and industry knowledge
  • Proven commercial and sales ability including outstanding negotiation skills, persuasive ability, and excellent communication skills.
  • Demonstrable Project Management expertise
  • Experience with high value time sensitive projects
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills
  • Competent reporting and administration skills
  • Previous experience in tender submission and management
  • Quick thinker and problem solver who contributes ideas and solutions.
  • Communicates well and can engage and interact with a diverse range of people and situations.
