What you’ll do

Client Strategists will provide critical support to Senior Managers - Client Strategy and the Client Partnership Team to expand the level of strategic engagement we can offer to our clients.

Working end-to-end with clients to ensure campaign activity is aligned to clearly-stated objectives. You will support and/or lead strategic workshops, transforming data into actionable insights, and inform more effective campaign decisions.

You will also work closely with the frontline Sales Teams (CPT, BIGW and APT) at Cartology to develop and support plans to drive long term partnerships with key and prospective clients through data driven, strategically aligned insights.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Surface insights from a range of data sources to inform more effective strategic campaign recommendations.
  • Assist and support insight development for client planning workshops, brief responses and quarterly business reviews, building narrative that links up Above and Below the Line advertising plans.
  • Collaborate with relevant internal (Cartology Sales, Marketing & Analytics) and Group stakeholders to foster innovation in insights and deliver a more cohesive client experience.
  • Support and where possible lead narrative development in key client engagement through multiple touch points, planning, brief response & post campaign analysis (what worked / did not work and opportunities for future improvement) demonstrating brand impact.
  • Support and where possible oversee over-and-above analytics insight (beyond standard EOC reporting) in partnership with the Media Insights team to provide greater clarity into campaign impact
  • Develop case study opportunities to showcase best-in-class campaign impact

What you’ll bring

  • Significant strategic experience within a media or creative agency or media vendor.
  • Proven ability to translate data and complex topics into compelling narratives for various audiences.
  • Strong analytical mindset, with experience using tools like Excel to draw insights from large datasets, coupled with knowledge of research and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, establish, and maintain strong relationships with diverse stakeholders.
  • Experience in operationalising strategic priorities, combined with knowledge of strategic problem-solving, frameworks, project management, and change management.
