CD SEM Production Service Engineer
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site field technical support and production troubleshooting for CD‑SEM equipment at customer fabs.
- Perform new system installation, tool setup, preventive maintenance, and final buy‑off acceptance of equipment.
- Deliver professional technical consulting to customers based on ADVANTEST CDSEM system and service solutions.
- Act as the primary customer interface, handling site visits, technical meetings, issue discussions, customer complaints, and feedback management.
- Conduct customer training sessions covering system operation, basic maintenance, troubleshooting, and best practices.
- Perform hardware and product failure analysis, root cause investigation, repair activities, and issue detailed technical reports.
- Establish and manage escalation channels for post‑sales technical issues, collaborating effectively with local and overseas engineering, product, and support teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or above majoring in Microelectronics, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Instrumentation & Measurement, Optical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- Hands‑on experience with Metrology / CD‑SEM / DR‑SEM equipment or similar semiconductor inspection systems is highly preferred.
- Excellent ability to read and understand electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system documentation, with solid knowledge of failure analysis techniques.
- Strong team player capable of working independently under challenging schedules in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to learn quickly and work effectively under high‑pressure fab environments.
- Self‑motivated, customer‑focused, results‑oriented problem solver with strong technical capabilities.
- Willingness and flexibility to travel frequently for domestic and overseas business assignments.
- Good verbal and written Japanese communication skills.
